About me
I have been working in the software industry for the past decade. I became fascinated by computers during my senior year in college when I took a course in C programming. Although my major was Electronics, I have been passionate about Computer Science and building real-world software.
Over the past decade, I have been fortunate to work at multiple companies ranging from startups to Big Tech. It has been an excellent roller-coaster ride, and I have enjoyed working on a variety of systems. I had the opportunity to collaborate with smart people all over the globe and built software that earned millions of dollars for the companies.
My career journey
I began my career with Morgan Stanley as a Software Engineer in 2014. Later, I worked at a High-Frequency Trading startup and subsequently joined Zeta, a leader in the payment cards industry in India.
During the 2020 pandemic, I received an offer from Microsoft and contributed to building their Azure Cloud infrastructure. I had a brief stint at Airbnb, and later I moved to Amazon, India. Currently, I am working as an SDE-3/Tech Lead on Amazon’s retail website.
Working at different companies has given me the opportunity to develop a diverse skill set. I am proficient in multiple programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Java, C#, Rust, GoLang, etc. Additionally, I have gained excellent exposure to a wide array of cloud technologies, including AWS and Azure.
Over the past 10 years, I have interviewed over 2000 candidates for various software engineering roles. I have also honed my interviewing skills through interviews at multiple companies, including FAANG.
